The types of actions War Child has used is by saving these children and giving them right to education, safety and giving them a normal childhood. The children they dedicate their work to are the most vulnerable ones whose lives have been completely ruined because of the war. They are always in danger, and their families have lost everything meaning they can't even support them. They don't have access to education and don't have legal protection either. Many people have been forced to leave their homes, and sometimes even their countries.

Sexual abuse and family abandonment are also huge problem in these many countries with war. War Child is supporting these women and children by working directly with local justice organizations. They are helping to catch these criminals and not let them free, providing access to free counselling, and making sure that judges, police and communities understand the meaning of rights.

War Child has worked to help children in war - affected areas since 1999. Over the years, they have grown globally, benefiting thousands of children and families every year. Since 1999, they have learned much more about war and the impacts of war on these children, which allowed them to improve their work.

War child is an organization founded in 1993 and is still ongoing until now. Their goal is to help children who are living in war - affected countries by helping them reclaim their childhood and allowing them education, opportunity and justice. War Child takes an active role in raising public awareness about the impact of war on communities and the responsibility we have to help these communities.

If you take a look at the statistics for how many children are living in countries where war is an issue, and how many impacts it has on their lives, you will be very shocked. Every two seconds, one person is displaced, more than half of them being children. These people have lost their homes and their families. They have no one and nothing left to support them. War child decided to take it upon themselves to help these children, and are collecting donations from people who are also willing to help these children.

There are many issues that people living in countries with war have to face on a daily basis. Sexual violence, emotional abuse and family abandonment are some examples of crimes that happen when the war has quieted down. Because of war, many criminals aren't caught and brought to justice, leaving mothers and children vulnerable and frightened. They live in fear because these criminals aren't caught and can commit these crimes again. Education is another big factor that has a negative impact on their lives. Around 1.8 million children's lives could have been saved in Africa if the parents had at least a secondary education. 171 million could be lifted out of poverty if all students could have basic reading skills. War child has a plan to try to help people who have faced these problems.

War child is a very important group because they are trying to raise awareness about the children whose lives are in danger because of the war. What they are doing is politically significant because they are trying to help these children have a normal childhood where they don’t have to worry about death and war. These children haven’t experienced life the way we have, because there lives have been torn apart by the war. 250 million children are living in countries that have been destroyed by the war. This is an issue affecting millions of people, majority being children. The impact is extreme and many people have lost everything including their homes.
