         <title>Historians-Coming to America 10-30-13</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We read and study migration patterns.</p><p>We got online and toured Ellis Island. I felt </p><p>like I was an immigrant.          <description><![CDATA[<p>We learned about urban, suburban,</p><p>and rural areas. We explored our Parker</p><p>community by looking at an open space map.</p><p>We saw that there is little left. This is causing lots</p><p>of problems.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Somethings can be hard for kids to </p><p>understand because it is written for</p><p>adults to read.  We read 'We the Kids,'</p><p>which helped us understand the </p><p>Preamble.  We collaborated in teams </p><p>and interpreted the Preamble for kids</p><p>here at GRE.  It is hanging outside of our </p><p>room.          <title>Our Community-Restoring It When Broken 8-15-13</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We are a family, a community, a unit</p><p>that will function as ONE this school </p><p>year.  As a class we discussed our </p><p>expectations for each other as friends,</p><p>our expectations for our teacher,</p><p>our expectations as a committed </p><p>student, and our expectations as</p><p>a class family. We review when</p><p>faced with conflict how to problem</p><p>solve and restore what has been</p><p>broken.
