Music I like!

I listen to all kinds of music. From country to metal, I will make it my mission to find at least one artist in those genres that I enjoy. But like most people, I of course have favorites. My all time favorite band is Pierce The Veil!! To me, their music is timeless and I have been listening since I was in elementary school. No matter what is going on in my life, I will always have a PTV song playing in my earbuds.

If you haven't caught on from the theme of GIFs I have going on in this Padlet, my favorite show is Invader Zim!! Though it did end before I was even born, I have vivid memories of watching little clips of this show on YouTube on my mom's phone when I was a kid. Since then, I've been hooked! Now when it comes to movies, my favorite has to be 'Nope' by Jordan Peele. Jordan Peele is an absolute genius when it comes to cinematography and seeing him mix sci-fi with western themes was an absolute pleasure to watch in theaters.

Animal Crossing City

For this project, we were to create different scenes using figurines and practice depth of field!

Dia de los muertos camera shots

Using skills I learned doing the Lego City and new ideas from 206 Composition Basics, I shot pictures in our school's Dia de los Muertos gallery experience. I had a blast not only shooting pictures, but enjoying the gallery itself.

Exploration Project

For the 299 exploration project, I decided to do a color walk using anything blue I saw in my house! With the help of my family and my very colorful room, I got to shoot some super fun pictures and finished my collage :)!!

Cubism Photography

My artwork is based off a small home in Sausalito by the sea. Throughout my college there is a large variety of cool tones like blue and green. There is a good mix of both light and dark values throughout the artwork with both landscape and portrait angles in the project. Both the sky and the sea behind the house are a very light and bright background that's in contrast to the darker values seen on the sides of the house where all the greenery is seen.

Headshots and Lighting Techniques

For this project, we had to try out different kinds of lighting techniques with headshots. This was a partner project where we used the same pictures for our assignments. We experimented with red lights, the dark, and brighter spaces.
