   the battle of Seattle mainly targeted the WTO which was an organization that dealt with trading rules. the protesters argued that the promotion of free trade led to job loss and was a negative impact of globalization. the group focused on inequality and had a diverse range of protesters. the group also emphasized alternatives.

   the results of the battle of Seattle portray many issues. it shows how there are issues with freedom of speech and police brutality. the protests led to a declaration of a city emergency, unlimately making this a catastrophe.

   a current issue that the red cross has addresses is a nationwide blood supply shortage, they declared a national emergency due to the lack of blood supply and started up many blood drives to collect blood for those who need it in emergencies.
