Develop sense of Appreciation for animals by caring and loving for the fish.

Teacher’s reflection:
I feel that this lesson was really fruitful and interesting as the children learnt what kind of foods the fishes ate and how to take care of the fishes. The children were able to take turns feeding the fish and changing the fishes water. We even gave our fish a name, Bluey. We had three different caterpillars and the children took a variety of leaves from outdoor walks and placed them in the tank for our caterpillars. In this activity, the children are drawing their observations and most of them were able to draw the caterpillar and the leaves around it.

Develop a sense of wonder and curiosity as they observe how the caterpillar moves, eats and changes into a butterfly while experimenting with what leaves they eat. 
Teacher's Reflection:
This activity has been meaningful because of the experiential activities such as outdoor walks to find caterpillars, take leaves and the children as able to see how it grows. Teacher's Reflection
I really enjoy bringing the children outdoors for lessons because the children are able to learn through direct observations and can come to their own conclusions easily through such experiences. However, creating the ant tank was difficult as I needed to capture the Queen ant which was difficult to find.

It is fulfilling that at their young age, I saw their eagerness and curiosity in learning about snails. The children were all amazed how they can fit their slimy body inside their shell.
