It is proven that young children (and everyone actually) learn better with hands on experiments and activities. So playing actually helps one learn and develop many skills. Since there are many forms of play, there are many ways a child can learn and benefit from playing. For example, a jungle gym exercises the child's body and brain. They have to use their brain to think about how to maneuver around, and their body has to stretch or bend to fit and successfully go around the bars. Additionally, playing something such as "dress-up" helps a child develop social skills and helps them feel accomplished and proud of themselves. They have to socialize with other kids their age, and they have to fairly split up the costumes/toys, therefore forcing them to use their brain and think.

Young children, especially toddlers, are kinesthetic learners. That means they learn through hands on experiences. Playing helps them learn shapes, colors, numbers, sizes, and communication while also helping to exerscise musceles in the hands, arms, and feet. Playdough provides all these benefits and also is a creative outlet for children. They are able to create unique objects that they can call their own. Playdough can also be used to help calm a child down if they are angry

Children need to play for their development. Playing can have some very positive effects on children that will help them in the feature. We don’t need to start having kids sitting down and working starting at the age of 3. They will be doing that for the rest of their schooling so why have them start now? Play helps them socialize with other kids, use their imagination and you can incorporate some learning points into play. Some benefits of playdough are that they can imagine and make new shapes, animals, whatever they want. Playdough has a lot of good effects that will help children later on in life like math, social skills, science, and using their imagination. Playdough can be a away to take away stress from them and can be used just to entertain. The role of play is an essential for children development and playdough is a great solution for it.

In school, a lot of the structure and curriculum involves sitting still and learning through listening. However by being hands-on, it will provide more of boost to their knowledge. At this age, most of the development should be supplied by playing and it is as a result of this in where children learn how to share, communicate, be creative, and other important social skills, such as coping with others.

What is the role of play in child development?
Many people believe play is a distraction from learning, when it is actually a method of learning. When children play, they are learning to mature in different ways. Generally, children tend to play with other children. This develops communication skills. They learn to effectively tell someone else what they want to do or make suggestions on what to make. By letting a child have the freedom to play with what they want, life skills will come naturally. Sometimes, forcing a lesson on children isn’t the best way to teach them. They will learn on their own, which also gives them the joy of accomplishing a task on their own. Additionally, play can also be a break from academic learning. If a child is worn out, they are not going to be able to learn anything. Play can help children to think about something else more relaxing for a change.
What are the benefits of play dough for children?
Play dough is easily pliable. It can be turned into almost anything, and it comes in all the colors of the rainbow. By using play dough, children develop different skills by forming different objects with their hands or plastic tools. Play dough lets children’s imaginations run wild, and it lets them practice basic academic skills like math and English. Children can learn to count by forming many of one specific object with the play dough. They can also learn what each object is called when they make something. When others ask question about their creations, children are always learning something new. Furthermore, playing with play dough also exercises the muscles in children’s hands and develops hand-eye coordination.

When they play they can take to their imagination and create some creativity. They also learn about Language, Science and many more academic learnings. They learn science when they mix different things together or they learn language because of reading during their play time. They also have physical development. They play by passing a ball around or jumping rope. These all affect their physical abilities later on in their life. The benefits of playdough for children is that they are about to unleash their creativity. They get to create whatever they want out of the dough. Once they get older their creativity expands and they add more details into their creations.

Playing of all kinds uses social, mental and physical development. Play Dough uses all of these. For social, kids talk to each other about what they are making, and make up stories with other kids about their creations. They have leadership skills by helping other kids, and directing them what to do. They have mental skills by use of their imagination and pretending things about their creations. For example a kid might make a cake and then pretend to eat it and share with friends. They use physical development because muscles in their hands start to develop with molding the play dough, and also they can blow off steam by playing with it.
