Of particular interest was the tour of the machining area. Our guide took the time to explain the differences between the equipment and what it would be used for. I was particularly interested early in the tour, when we saw a machine used to bend sheet metal that had been produced in 1919. Very old technology a few feet away from water cutting equipment and lasers!

The diversity between cutting with water or lasers, with machining by hand or with programs in the computers, was really amazing to see. I was also impressed by how much support the workers in this company could receive toward pursuing additional training and certifications to follow their particular niche in the industry--either in machining with computers, machining by hand, managing, coding, and programming.  Thank you for the awesome tour.
