We have had a fantastic first week and a half settling into class. We have lots of new faces and routines but the children are coping so well! We have started our new topic which is called ‘in my shoes’ and we have been learning about our bodies this week and getting settled. We have been on a scavenger hunt and done lots of maths and phonics. We have mostly been settling in to our routines this week.

This week we have done maths, phonics, music, made ginger bread men and had forest school. We decorated digital pictures of ourselves in our digital art topic. We used tissue as hair to practice our fine motor skills and cutting the hair. We have sorted objects using colour.

This week we have been exploring texture! We have sorted lots of objects by how they feel. We also took our phonics outside and learned about environmental sounds as well as our speedy sounds! We also listened to the story The Three Little Pigs and re-enacted it outside! We have done maths and started learning about autumn.
