I admit I was in shock and was even regretting that I registered for this subject. Since I had no other choice, I could only wait and see what happens during this project. 

My fear for this project increased when very vague instructions were given in the beginning. I was skeptical about this project because I am used to having group members within the same classroom. This made me think that it was impossible to complete this project without having actual face-to-face discussions. 

During the first video call was the first encounter with my group members. It was an interesting video call because I have never done something like this before. 

Positive : It was a very good experience to have group members from different universities because it allowed me to network with people of different backgrounds.
Negative : One of the major problems was that we could never get a proper time and date where everyone was available to carry out the video call. It was understandable because everyone has their our timetable and plans. However, from my opinion I think that this could have been prevented if the number of students per group were reduced by half.  To get the same free time for 10 people is hard but it is easier for 5 people.]]> 2016-11-20 11:57:22 UTC https://padlet.com/darsh3614/gdwy69jez90t/wish/138924780 darsh3614 https://padlet.com/darsh3614/gdwy69jez90t/wish/138931910 Never have I thought that so many different applications existed to assist us with our project, from online mind maps to digital scrapbooks and more. And I'm sure there are more applications out there that I don't know about.

Positive : This was one of the plus points of doing this project. I got to discover about the variety of applications that can help me with my future projects. 
Negative : However, because there are so many applications, it was a hassle to use them just to complete one project. Positive : No doubt, video call is an excellent invention. Projects such as this (with members who live far away) had lots of help from the video call application to complete the project.
Negative : Nevertheless, there are bond to be some faults during the recording.
We can't  100% blame the video call application for not working properly, but it also depends on the WiFi that each member has at their current location. For our recording, some of us couldn't hear, others could click on certain  buttons and worst - not being able to access the call. Many improvements has to be made if this project is to be carried out the following semesters.

Positive : I got to learn about a new microbe in detail.
Negative : This project required us to put information of the microbe into different forms e.g. scrapbooks, mind maps, video.
