This shows that Kaddo did this because he wanted to be   well known in history, he could've fed his people, but he was greedy and selfish and wanted to be well known, so he built a wall out of meal.

In conclusion, Kaddo's wall symbolizes greed and selfishness because he built a wall out of meal and chose to not feed his people.

So many people are hungry” This shows that Kaddo was being selfish because he was using his food to build a wall instead of helping the people that were hungry.
