NSSEC logistical elements that can be improved:
o Basecamp (2)

o Better communication about what is going on with larger NSSEC; not so many emails, communicating with each other (3)

What works well in basecamp:

o Communication, document storage, organization, message boards, calendar (17)

o Difficult to navigate, too many emails (3)

o Easy to navigate; guidelines for use would help

o Being informed about what is going on

What could be improved with basecamp

o Operating instructions (don’t respond to everyone) (5)

o Scheduler – needs to be used more

o Dialogue

o Notifications of posts are too frequent; hard to find important message

o Too many folders – maybe archive or remove

o Need shared common documents

Since Basecamp isn't about management the minutia of projects, and other platforms are, I don't see the alternatives working better and I don't see them allowing for group message boards to garner feedback and advice and post announcements, which is primarily what we use Basecamp for.
