Why did Jupiter want people to be miserable and why does Prometheus disobey him? Should people with power help the weak?

Jupiter wants the people to suffer because Jupiter does not want them to become powerful, because if they become powerful then they might create their own kingdom. Promiethius decided to disobey Jupiter because he wanted to do good and show citizens how to survive. I think that people should have power but not to much power.

Jupiter wanted the people to be weak because they disobeyed the gods and learned bad from Prometheus. Prometheus disobeys Jupiter because he believed people can do amazing things with fire, and he believed it would make the world better. Also I think the powerful should help the weak to make it fair and even.

I think the reason Prometheus disobeys Jupiter him is because he does not see how it is right to let man sit there in the cold eating raw meat and scared of the beasts. (animals)

Prometheus what's to help the people because he feels bad that they are cold, miserable, and hungry so he gives them fire 🔥so, they can cook, be warm, and not suffer in painPeople with great power should always help people on a lower level, no one should suffer. Someone with greater power shouldn't punish the "hero" for helping too.

Jupiter is very parinoid, and has no wish for weaklings such as men( and women) to become more powerful then the gods. When Prometheus brought the issue with giving fire to the men, Jupiter refused because he was very afraid that men would become able to overpower the gods.
Prometheus' choice to disobey Jupiter shows that even though he could very well become banished into Tatarus, he belived that if men would have fire they would be able to have wondrous opportunities.
I beilive that people who have more influence should help the less fourtenent.I think that it is their duty to the world.Why else would they be gifted? The world would be a much better place if the more powerful would be humble and step off their 'thrones', and give to the needy. How world this be an impact on our future generations if we influence them to give to the weak?

Prometheus disobeys Jupiter because he thinks humanity should have fire to cook food ,build houses and more. The people with power should help the weak because if they don't bad things can happen and cause they have so much power that they can use it for goo like helping others

Yes, people with power should help the week. For example, Jupiter didn't want the other people to be able to also have fire because he was afraid that they learn a way to run them out of control and they all take over. Prometheus's wanted to help the week because he knew that they could live alot better with fire. He knew that they would be able to live alot easier because they could make good make food,stay safe,and also they could build construction. Although, Jupiter believed people shouldn't have power, Prometheus still disobeyed him and taught people how to survive, and make and use fire. Jupiter also hoped people couldn't become more powerful than himself. I believe people should help the less unfortunate, because karma comes back around. What you give out comes back around ether positive or negative.

But Prometheus feels bad seeing ones suffer so he gives fire to the needing so they can cook their food/live.

Jupiter was very selfish and he wanted all the power and praise for himself he didnt want man to overrule him so he denied giving man fire.
Prometheus disobeys because he sees that man is poor and he wants to be kind and help him.
I believe Jupiter should help them because they are weak and poor and wiil endup dying because of lack of fire...Deep down inside everyone has a little good in their hearts. <3

jupiter didnt so much want the people to be miserable, but for them to be less than the gods because all gods are supposed to be powerful and humans are supposed to worship them. prometheus had disobeyed him because he felt that if humans had fire they would be civilized and be less like the beasts the world had made them to be. i think that people that have power should help the weak, because you never know how good they could turn out for the world.
