In this book, we can see that there is a lot of friendship. When Cat and her family move to Bahia de la Luna (California) because of the illness of her sister, they have to adapt to the conditions of the town and to the fact of being away from their friends. The book shows how we need friends and how important they are, like we can see when Cat is sad because she can't go to have dinner with her friends. But also that everything has something positive, in this case Carlos, that helps a lot including Cat and Maya in the town and the new friends that Cat makes in the school.

Dia de los muertos is a celebration of Mexico that says that the 1 of november our ancestors come to our cities in the form of ghosts but for this you have to prepare an altar with a photo of him and things that have to do with it. It is one of the most important celebrations in Mexico. People did big parties to welcome the ghosts and they prepared typical Mexican food

In conclusion we liked this book. We think that is so easy to read and very interesting. The pictures are very beautiful and representatives and like that it's easier to know what is happening in the book. We recommend this book to all people who like stories but don't like to read a lot.

In English class we read the book ghosts. It is about two sisters, Cat and Maya that moves to Bahia de la luna because Maya has an illness of breath but Cat is not happy with that. In the new city they meet one boy (Carlos) that says that in the city there are ghosts but Cat doesn't think that is true. They go to one house and the boy shows them the ghost but they have a problem and Maya falls to the floor. Cat got very angry with Carlos. It’s been a few weeks and cat goes to the celebration of the day of the dead ahi thanks to carlos realizes that ghosts are good people.
