Dear Doris, I will take you early in the morning for a walk through the Nairobi Arboretum to tell you how much I admire you and to ask you more about your new adventure. I would most likely sit you down on a bench along the way to try to change your mind and convince you to stay with us.:) Then, we’d keep walking, and I’d hug you, wishing you the best. DORIS! If I could go on a journey with you, I would like to take the train to Mombasa Town, your home, and walk the streets with you! I'd want you to show me all your favorite places, bring me to taste your favorite foods and together cool off in the Indian Ocean! It is hard to say goodbye. It has been a true delight working with you, and collaborating to grow a strong East African program. Your vision will stay with us, and I hope you will find time to come back and visit the girls at EAGLS, or at a CAP! Thank you for all your good energy and hard work to support the SYD girls! It's been a fun journey together. Wishing you a wonderful next chapter filled with adventure and learning!

Hi Doris!! I haven't had the opportunity to know you well but we had a nice chat about self help books to design your life. We could go to the bookstore together and then head to a coffee shop or somewhere to sit and chat nearby. I would take a walk at Karura with you. It would be a perfect opportunity to chat, draw from your wisdom, and kick off your fitness goals while at it!

It has been an absolute pleasure reconnecting with you in this work. Since meeting you 5 years ago, I have constantly learned from and been mentored by you. Thank you!

I am beyond excited for this new chapter and will keep cheering you on as you keep winning. We will definitely keep in touch!

Dear Doris,

I love to visit art museums, especially when I'm in a new city. I have never been to Kenya and I imagine a lot of imagery/cultural references will be lost on me. You seem very wise so I would love to visit with you and pick your brain on what we're seeing! Afterwards we could grab a coffee and chat about life, our upbringings, hobbies, the future, etc. I wish we had more time to get to know each other, but for now I wish you the very very best in your new chapter!
