This does not seem equitable to me when some teachers have multiple planning periods and others do not. Additionally, I don't think it's fair for a staff member to be paid extra money or leave if they cover a class if they have more than one planning period per day. It felt very rushed trying to have the students complete it, especially with student/wifi laptop issues in the morning. Some weeks need adjustment because the classes will suffer when they don't meet for a week. (Last week we had 1 B day.) Some courses only meet on a certain day. Therefore, they would only have one or two classes, placing them significantly behind.
