I think Winston Churchill was probably right in his assessment here. Attitude is one of the biggest factors when it comes to doing anything in your daily life. Depending on your attitude, you could either sit around all day, or get a bunch of work done you might not have even realized was possible. If you have the right attitude, you can get almost anything done. But attitude is also completely outside of your abilities. It isn't affected by intelligence or strength. That's what I think Churchill meant when he said that it was a little thing.

I think it is true. Attitude can make a big difference in how you face a situation. This is easier said then done but its worth a shot. Changing your attitude wont always help and sometimes you just physically cant do it. I also think that attitude isn't a little thing and it seems Churchill agrees, if it can change your perception on a situation its a pretty big thing.

I believe that this quote is true because of my own experiences. I once believed that nothing mattered because we would all die one day and all of our accomplishments meant nothing in the long run, and that made me kind of depressed. Now, I still believe that nothing truly matters, but I find that to be refreshing because that means the pressure is off. Now I can just live my life and try my best, and it doesn't matter if I fail. I find that very freeing.

Yes, I feel attitude does make a big difference and shows who you are and what you represent. Attitude shows your appearance and who you treat people and if its good you make a good impression. Having a bad attitude makes people not want to be around you and accept you for a position for a job or other activity. Attitude may stand for a little part of who you are but does make a big difference and how people see you. That's what I feel this quote means and what Winston Churchill was trying to say.

I agree with this quote. The attitude someone approaches something with plays a large part in the result of their situation. Having a positive outlook is important as it increases your chances of success. If you think you will fail, you already have, but if you believe you will succeed, what is the reason that you can't? Even in the smallest parts of your day, the attitude you have toward them will influence your overall mood. Positivity leads to happiness and negativity to sadness. When there is a choice, it is always best to remain optimistic.

Thanks for sharing this quote with us today. I definitely believe the quote is true as I have seen the difference my own and others' attitudes have had in their lives. In general, I try to have a positive attitude, but this has been a challenge. When I played volleyball in college, my nickname was "Attitude" because I took everything very seriously, not having the best attitude. I was always overly critical of myself, and honestly, sometimes overly critical of others too. My coach called me out on this, and I was basically benched until my attitude improved. This was a hard lesson to learn and forced me to change. I had to recognize how my attitude and resulting behaviors were negatively effecting my teammates, which I never wanted to do. Today, I would say I am a much more positive, and happier, person.
