         <description><![CDATA[<div><em>Despite a healthier job market, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that it takes an average of 10 months for candidates to find work, but there are some things that job seekers can do to help them find a new position faster.<br></em><br></div><div><em>As marketing specialist Cezary Gylsebrzak wrote in his blog for the Huffington Post, being organized is key to a pilot job search.<br></em><br></div><div><em>Gylsebrzak said that first of all candidates should set specific and realistic goals. He said job seekers need to include time constraints to make those goals more tangible, and write them down to make themselves accountable.<br></em><br></div><div><em>Next, Gylsebrzak said job seekers need to prioritize their tasks, which may include updating their resumes with a free resume builder, attending industry meetings and networking sessions or increasing their online professional presence through social media.<br></em><br></div><div><em>Gylsebrzak said that one of the best ways job seekers can combat the unpredictability of their search is by making it predictable.
