Q2. What is something new you learnt from this camp?

The personalities of my seniors and juniors. I realised that the seniors and juniors are fun, approachable and exciting.

Ethan sir. He is very active even though he is tired and wants to go back home. He tries his best to make the other cadets excited.

Qn:One way to make NPCC camp fun.

Ans:I would like to give a suggestion by creating a Campfire Sessions with this allows the cadets to to experience a fun campfire sessions with storytelling, group singing, and sharing experiences to build camaraderie among participants.

4.2 people I would like to show appreciation are Sir Sufyan and Arman. Sir Sufyan helped me to improve on my drills movement and explained what the drills are for. Arman helped to accompany me with a lot of stuff and gave me confidence.

Q2. I managed to make conversations from other levels (sec 2 n 3). Though it was quite awkward, we have a somewhat pleasent time together as we talk. (I make new friends)

Q3. The activities can try to be more fun, mix the sec 1-3 more in like a group.

Q4. Ethan because during the drill test/competition, he does his role right and always tries his best to help us with our mistakes. He also makes alot of jokes for us so that we wouldn't be so tense/serious all the time

I learnt how to teach new drills to my jnrs as there usually isn’t an opportunity like this.

I’m grateful for my whole team such as Ariq and Windy as they were very cooperative.

2.Three thing that i have learnt is responsibility of taking care of my own stuff,respect the people infront talking and integrity as i tried to be on my best behaviour and tried to not show any negative attitude.

3.Thing that i can improve is my drills as i am not that good at it as for the camp there was not an issue as i had fun and also created wonderful memories.

As they helped me alot and also they created this schedule for us and they worked very hard behind the scenes planning for us.

Our team work and sense of agency as if we have teamwork and we can get things done faster and for the sense of agency we can have more time so that we will not be late for the next activity

• I really enjoyed the physical training session as it was a great way to start the day and get ready for all the other activities ahead.

• I enjoyed the captains ball game, it was very fun as I got to play with people from other levels.

• I also enjoyed the ice breaker games as it was interesting to play a new game Ive never played before.

I have learnt how to work well with other people even though they may be older or younger than me. I have learnt how to improve on my drills and never give up even though I may not have gotten the drills correct.

3) One thing that can be improved about this camp is that instead of captain ball for a recreational training, it could have been something more intense because captain’s ball is a game that all the levels have played and it is easy to win and we are very familiar with all the rules. New games can be introduced because playing the same games over and over again in other camps or bonding activities will be boring.

4) I’d like to thank Sufyan sir and Shenthuri ma’am for being very clear about their instructions, planning this whole day for all of us and being nice to all of us. I really appreciate all their efforts and hard work.

2) i learnt that i have communicate and work close with my exco members in order to achieve something or to successfully plan an event.

3) i feel that i should be more involved in my cca. As an example, i can help my other ic’s to teach the lower secondary and take initiative in planning events for the cca.

4) i would like to show my appreciation to the chair and vice chair , sufyan and shenthuri of npcc. i can see that they work very hard in planning this event. They also ensure that all cadets are satisfied and happy with the activities that we did today. in addition, they also check on cadets safety and health/ well - being. Furthermore, i would like to show my appreciation to sowniya a fellow secondary 2 cadet. i can see that she put in the initiative to lead us in the icebreakers.

2) I learnt about teamwork and responsibility. I learnt how to work together in a group and learnt how to cooperate well.

3) I needed more confidence on the timing so i wish that the seniors could have encouraged us more

4) Dhaniyah ma’am and Ethan sir. For Dhaniyah ma’am, she helped me to execute the drills and was supportive and encouraging when i was doing the drills. For Ethan sir, he was very fun to talk to and he encouraged us to do our best whenever he could. He was very lively throughout the camp and motivated us to do better throughout the camp! I’m really grateful to both of these seniors for helping us out and for never losing faith in us no matter how stubborn we were to open our mouths.

I have learnt that we should utilise different methods when teaching our cadets. For example, if there are multiple seniors teaching one junior squad, we shouls make use of all the manpower thay we have. We can have a senior commanding the squad while others can stand at the side of the squad to spot any mistakes the cadets make when carrying out the drills. Then, they can point it out by addressing the whole squad and allowing the whole squad to learn from their mistakes.

I believe that most cadets are trying their best to perform their drills although they make make some minor mistakes on accident. However, I can see that there are still a small group of cadets who may not be as motivated to put in their best effort into NPCC, and do not have proper discipline. So, I think that our cadets can improve by putting more effort into NPCC and have a better mindset during CCA. Our cadets should make the best of their time in this CCA as this is the CCA that they chose. They should put in their best and more, and be eager to learn in NPCC. Additionally, instead of taking criticism and scolding negatively, they can see these as learning opportunities to better themselves as we only wish for the best for our junior cadets.

I would like to express appreciation to Niran and Sowmiya from the Secondary 2 squad. Niran has been an amazing leader in commanding her squad for the drill competition and she has done exceptionally well with her voice projection. She was also very lively and active during every activity we participated in, and I would like to thank her for being such an awesome and friendly junior. Sowmiya took up the initiative to plan for the ice breaker acitvities and I would like to commend her for being so proactive. Her planning has proved to be effective, and I find the games that she organised really fun too. She also has a very friendly personality and likes to make sure those around her have fun as well. So, I would like to thank these two juniors for making my experience at NPCC Day Camp 2024 a wonderful and enjoyable experience.
