The characters are determined one way they showed that is when they were playing soccer they went and took of there shoes and kept on trying even thought they did not win.   

Another way was they went looking for things and they even if they did not see something they would keep on going.

 Introduction
Many people think that hard working is useless and it is just a waste of time. but in the panea football team they show hard work, by building the pitch win the tournament, and when they have to play on a wet surface.
1st mini story/background paragraphs
The panea football club show hard working when they build the pitch. The characters were in need of a place to play so they had to make there own place so they helped each other collect wood. They had no where else to put it so the put it on water by them selves. And then they then they had paint it so it can be more like a soccer field and they put goal posts. while they where training the ball went in the water a lot and they would too. Then they finally made it to the quarterfinals.     2nd mini story/background paragraphs
  The panea football club show hard working when they take home a trophy. . They were training for a while on there football field they made now they were accepted into the quarterfinals. When they arrived they were really neavers and had thoughts they were not good enough. They also had bigger land which now would be easier for them because they did not have problems with the ball going in the water. But those thoughts changed when they started to play and the characters were doing very well. The game was even easier because they were using smaller goal posts and when they got to the game the posts were big compared to what they were using. At the end of the game the won and made it to semifinals they were pr acting on wood and were having there struggles such as the ball going into the water now they were beating these people who probably had grass. That is another way they showed hard work.
3rd
The panea football club show hard work when they have to play on a wet surface. So they had just won the quaterfinals now they were playing against another football team and it was raining at first they realized that this team was better then the other one. And then they were starting to lose hope  and then they took off there shoes and went back to play and now the were improving the score was 2-0 and at the second half it was 2-2 and now things were going good. And then at the last minute when it was about to be a tie or they would win the other team scored . But the fact that they came this far from using wood to the semifinals that is pretty good.
Conclusion

That shows the character sarah views the gnome as a friend a did not want him to go and sicne she moved her she did not have a friend until now. she was going to leave her home and her perents would be looking for her.
