Morning’s a new bird
stirring against me
out of a quiet nest,
coming to flight—

quick-changing,
slow-nodding,
breath-filling body,

life-holding,

It doesn't seem to follow a pattern of syllables. There are 5 stanzas with the first being a quatrain, and the last 4 being a tercet. This poem talks about how the morning makes her feel when she is woken up by the warmth of it.
