This article discusses the difference between rural and urban life, focusing on a healthy lifestyle or where it is healthier to live. I learned that city dwellers tend to suffer from higher levels of asthma, allergies and depression. But they also have a lower risk of suicide and are less likely to die in an accident. They live happier as seniors and in generally live longer. I also found interesting that researchers showed that the more ‘blue space’ people saw in their everyday life, the less distress and anxiety they experienced.

My hometown doesn’t have many attractions, but it does have a lot of breathtaking views. One of them is the view of Lake Ptuj. On a clear day you can also see Ptuj Castle in the background. One of the most interesting things about my hometown is the carnival or Fašenk, as we call it. We have a lot of Ethnographic characters (the most famous is called Korant), so I would show them an exhibition of those characters. Due to the small size of my village, I would show a friend the nearest town Ptuj and a beautiful view from Ptuj Castle. You can reach the castle through the cobbled old streets of the Roman Empire.

''When in Rome, do as the Romans do'' is the famous axiom of St Ambrose, the very famous bishop of Milan in the 4th century. He advises that people should follow the traditional customs and decency of country where they choose to live. The knowledge about culture and customs of another country bring many benefits for immigrants.
I think it’s important that when you are visiting a new place, that you follow local customs and that you behave like people in that place and that you follow the rules that people have in a particular area. It seems important to me that before visiting a new place you learn the language or at least some basic words and phrases that you can use, because the locals appreciate it very much. They prefer to let you into their environment. Personally, I am also excited when some foreigners learn a few Slovene words before visiting Slovenia.
