This article explains the role of greenhouse gases and how too much in the atmosphere leads to global warming, along with a fascinating graph illustrating the CO2 emissions in Ireland until 2018.

It mentions Ireland's future in relation to the changing climate which includes potential temperature rises and changes in weather patterns along with various ways as a country we can tackle climate change such as investing in renewable sources, introducing electric cars, and government initiatives.

This article backs up what we have already learned in relation to the causes and effects of climate change and touches on future initiatives but what is interesting is learning about what our country plans to do in order to mitigate climate change.

This article is important as it calls for immediate action to address climate change in Ireland. I think it is important to educate ourselves not only about climate change globally but where we stand as a country.
