<title>Throughout the play, Quince seems to be the more superior person, while Bottom was a more obnoxious and selfish person. Quince appears to realize that Bottom is pretty self-centered, but he does not take it into his own hands and tries to ignore it, as well as go along with it. This quote includes a lot of poetic devices within it. It uses some of Shakespeare&#39;s old English in the quote, such as Thee and Thou. He uses some </title>

<title>Its verbal and dramatic irony because Bottom&#39;s head look like an 🤬 and he is exclaiming that they are &quot;making an 🤬 of me&quot; while he doesn&#39;t know that he looks like an 🤬. These verbal and dramatic irony is what makes the scene comedic.</title>

<title>In this particular sentence, it is evident that Quince has seen Bottom transform into something that is horrifying. As Bottom has transformed into having a head of an 🤬 or donkey, Quince is terrified. However, the diction in this line shows that Shakespeare wants to present the Mechanicals&#39; as rather amateur and illiterate. This is apparent in the line, where Shakespeare makes an intended mistake by using &quot;translated&quot;, instead of transformed and this word choice is incorrect as a living thing cannot be translated. Similarly, this line uses great imagery, as the line expresses great fear within Quince as he is speaking to someone who has an 🤬-head, for example when he says &quot;Bless thee, Bottom!&quot;, he is trying call upon God to help Bottom recover from his misery. Another actively used literary device in this line, includes, repetition and alliteration. Alliteration is noticeable, where the sounds &quot;Bless thee&quot; have been repeated twice and that is also where the repetition is evident as well. </title>

<title>Bottom is rather upset to hear such foul words about his appearance, as seen in this line. He uses verbal and dramatic irony in this sentence. For example, when he says &quot;to make an 🤬 of me&quot;, this is ironic because his appearance is of an 🤬 and &quot;to be made an 🤬 of&quot; is another way of stating someone&#39;s being made a fool of, therefore, it includes verbal and dramatic irony. Furthermore, the diction here has developed and it is seen that Bottom&#39;s language usage is advanced compared to Quince&#39;s. The author has used the word &quot;knavery&quot;, which is a synonym for trickery and this somewhat presents that Bottom might be more educated than Quince, to an extent. Lastly, the use of imagery is also very strong in this line as Bottom states of himself being made an 🤬 of and in this line it is confirmed that his head has transformed into a donkey-head. </title>

<title>At this point in the play, Titania has fallen in love with Bottom, due to the affects of the magic of Puck. Clearly, as Titania expresses her love towards Bottom, she says some very romantic phrases, even though, he has a head of an 🤬. However, there is a conspicuous change in language between the Fairies and the Mechanicals. An evident example; as Shakespeare intentionally makes a mistake in language by using &quot;translated&quot; instead of &quot;transformed&quot;, yet here Shakespeare has used words of a greater standard, such as &quot;enamoured&quot;, &quot;entrallèd&quot; and &quot;perforced&quot;, even though these words are now considered archaic, they are beautiful and advanced. Subsequently, the imagery in this speech from Titania, is not strong because she is just describing her feelings for another individual and we cannot see feelings, though, the wording in this paragraph is capable of making the reader feel the power of love that magic attains. However, in the first line where Titania states, &quot;I pray thee, gentle mortal, sing again.&quot;, it seems rather absurd for someone to say &quot;gentle mortal&quot;, however it may apply to her as normal as she is immortal and maybe the Fairy world called Humans as &quot;the mortals. The story is developing from this paragraphs, as Oberon was supposed to be the person Titania was to look upon as she wakes, but it is now Bottom. The story is beginning to created great chaos and much confusion is starting to develop at this point. </title>

<title>In these lines, Titania is in a conversation with Bottom and is forceful of his stay in the forest and is not ready to let him go regardless of his willingness. Similarly, she introduces another subject where she is willing to ridden him from his mortality and transform him into an immortal spirit like her fellow fairies, thereby ensuring that he will not dying as humans do. The word choice in these lines is very complex and it takes the reader a long time to comprehend the context of the text. However, the imagery is the weakest in this line as the lines are hard to understand and the words being implemented are not capable of providing the reader with decent imagery. As mentioned before, the diction of the text is immensely complex in these specific lines and Titania&#39;s vocabulary seems to develop and advance at a rapid pace. Similarly, as Titania&#39;s language is advancing, so is the plot developing. It is apparent that Titania is so in love with Bottom at this point that she eager to change his life type and make him immortal, not taking his choice into any consideration. </title>
