By Suzanne LaFleur
Genre- Mystery

Siena is a strange girl. She collects abandon things and has strange visions. When her family moves to a new house by the sea in Maine to help her mute brother, Lucca, Siena remembers it from one of her visions. Soon she finds an old pen that magically writes the story of a girl her age named Sam who turns mute after her brother goes to fight in the war. It seems so real to her. Almost like she's living it. She finds little clues along the way to find the answer to solving both cases of the mute kids. But will she find a happy ending for both stories? Or will Lucca and Sam be doomed to a silent life forever?

I like this book because Siena is unlike any other character I ever read about. The plot is very exciting with many twists and turns. This book is great for many different types of people. Also, if you enjoy this book, make sure to check out Suzanne LaFleur's other books like Love, Aubrey and Eight Keys!

Reese Barrett
