Not only does the coral reef's structure, shells and skeletons get weakened by having calcium carbonate, an important ingredient, being damaged by acid, it also reduces the biodiversity of it. This means that organisms are more susceptible to damages and die which in turn, affect the wider food web.</div>]]></description>
