How about Ursula in the Ariel clip? Look at the video clip from Snow White for one more example - next post (Part 3 #1)

Some sources state that the temptress must be something or someone beautiful to be a temptress. Ursula is not when she tempts Ariel, but she is when she tempts Eric. Hans is handsome, and Anna does fall in love at first sight. In some versions of Snow White the "witch" is beautiful, and we know that the Sirens were portrayed that way. Some times the temptress/tempter character appears nice, but is not. So sometimes the temptress character type is not focused on as much as the villain. Look at the next few posts to see villians in action or in a picture.

The innocent character changes through the course of the story because of a counterpart in the story. The innocent character is a dynamic character (in a story, a dynamic character is someone who undergoes an important, internal change because of the action in the plot). The change may come from advice and guidance from a mentor, from battling a temptress, trying to defeat a villain, etc. That is why I names this wall Dynamic Duos... it is another typical cahracter type that changes the innocent one. View more videos to learn about the mentor, the temptress, the villian or shadow, etc. I have attached a video to learn more about static and dynamic characters. You can choose to watch this now or later.

Sometimes the "innocent" is portrayed as a child, a maiden, an animal, etc. Regardless who or what takes the role of the innocent one, there is always someone who is after them or wants to take advantage of him/her. Likewise, the innocent ones also draw upon those to help them along the way by giving them advice, rescuing them, supporting them, etc. Whether it is a temptress who takes advantage of the innocence of a character, the villain or shadow who is out to get the innocent one,
etc. or the mentor who guides, the hero who rescues, etc., the innocent one always has another archetypal character along for the ride. Check out the innocent characters, the temptresses/ tempters, the villians, the
mentors, the heroes and the guides...
