Select a Theme: I chose Flowers.
Write down your chosen theme.

Create a New project
Push the Blue circle with the Plus sign

Select Custom Size...for now just click on Create New Project.

Scroll down to Background...choose any background you like. If you hit the MORE arrow this will give you other options in that category. Click on any background you choose. Adobe Express will paste the background onto your new Canvas.

Anything with a CROWN is part of the Premium membership. Place your cursor on the grey space at the top area of your canvas to remove the side task bars.

Clicking on the Grey space or the "X" will remove the task bars.

Select a Photo, click Media (video or audio) on the left side. In the Search Adobe Stock write your Theme. I chose Flowers.

Theme Flowers. Adobe Stock will give you a 18,014,261 images to select from. Anything with a crown is only available with the Premium Membership. Don't worry you still have a ton of images to select from. You may also choose to upload an image from your computer photos. If you choose to do that simply click upload photos.

Click on your selected photo. Adobe will instantly place it on your background. Stretch it out to cover your background completely

Look at the "STACK" of images in the lower right hand side of the widow. These are your two layers, layer 1 the background, layer 2 the flowers.

Adding Text to your image.

On the left side click TEXT. You will have a ton of text fonts to select from. However, click "Add your Text". A Text Box will appear on your canvas. Simply delete "Add Your Text" and write your own.
Adobe will suggest an font play around with the fonts to see which one you like.

This will give you a text box. Go to the left side and remove Edit Text that is already in the box. Write your own text, Change the size, layout left/center/right, click on the color box are all on the left side. Change the color, slide to your preferred color. Click on Shadow, choose a shadow , I always choose black or white, choose an outline color.

Adjust the size of the font by pulling on the corners or adjust the font size on the right panel. I chose White as my fill color. Outline in Black. I adjusted the Outline thickness and the opacity. I also added a shadow.

Rename your project At the top left click on the "Untitled and the date". Rename your project. My project is renamed Flowers. If you don't do this you will have a ton of projects called "Untitled and the date" It only takes a second that will help you organize your projects.

Assignment: Choose a famous S.T.E.A.M./S.T.E.M. person to
create a minimum of 10 panel video. Tell what they did, how you think they contributed to their field and in what way their contribution changed the world. Think of Adobe Express as a PowerPoint on steroids.
