No. People can not fall in Love instantly, I believe that love requires  a strong relationship with someone. Yes you might feel attraction towards someone at first sight, but there's much more to it. I believe fate/destiny is not a thing. Why? We determine our own future and how we manage to grow and we can't depend on a higher power to control us because there is no such thing.
