This year I began my first ever Nursery etwinning project. This project is called ‘Built it’ and looks at developing children’s collaborative skills for mark making, expressive arts and design and communication and language. Although this project has a purpose and is collective it lacks some of the key competences and objectives we have spoken about in the past sessions.

This year I hope to be visiting Norway in June to carry out a face to face etwinning workshop. This workshop will allow me to meet new potential partners and discuss new project ideas.
Once I have returned I Hope to begin a new project. I will ensure that this project is within the guidelines set out in the school’s international policy and will link in with the European Unions Framework of key competences.

Although the idea has not been set for my new project I am very excited for it to begin. For me, project making involves teamwork, solidarity and develops my communication and Language skills which all support my professional development as a teacher. I will be sure to share my project successes on the twinspace with you in the near future.

This session has helped me to consider how I can begin an international project with my year group at school. It has helped to provide me with the knowledge and confidence that I will need for this. I have thoroughly enjoyed developing my understanding of the importance of international links and I am very much looking forward to sharing this with both my year group partners and the children. After working collaboratively with teachers of different nationalities on this course, it is now clear to me how beneficial it will be to work collectively with others schools across Europe and how this can enhance the key skills and competences. I am very enthusiastic about this and I am eager to foster this enthusiasm within the children at school.

Today's session was about how to get into international school projects. In my case, this is my first year with such an experience because I have arrived at the school where I am now in September (a school with many years of experience in Erasmus projects) and I am still learning how to work on this kind of projects. This session gave me the opportunity of refreshing concepts and share experiences with the other colleagues of this course. All of us seem to be very interested in international school projects and I think we are weaving some ties that surely will make possible some common projects.

Today we talked again about the international policy every school should have and should integrate into its curriculum.
A draft of a possible policy at our school:

Introduction:
The students at our school belong to about 20 different nations. A good and friendly communication is extremely important for a harmonic atmosphere in every days' work and lifelong learning. Thus all students must be interested in getting to know foreign languages, cultures and traditions and they have to accept them.

Aims:
- to encourage students to celebrate their own cultural identity and to make them aware of the necessity to respect other cultures, languages and religions
- to make them interested in a life within a global society
- to work and exchange information with students of different nations
- to improve the teachers' didactic capacities caused by the international mobilities
- to improve the students' motivation and achievements causedby this

Objectives:
1. To raise the internationalisation of our school by
- eTwinning projects
- exchange programs for students and teachers
- visits to places of cultural interest in Germany and abroad
- involving the students' parents into the visits and exchange programs
2. To encourage the students to improve their knowledge in a foreign language or even to learn a new one by offering appropriate language options
3. To organize a European festival at our school where the students can present their typical traditions (music, food, dance...)
4. To motivate teachers to do a professional development in Germany and abroad

Today's session was about international school projects. We had the opportunity in the group of participating teachers to exchange the experiences that we carry out in our schools and how we can improve them. This course "A classroom with a door to the world" will open more doors since we are already planning projects in Etwinning, jobshadowing and possible exchanges with Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom in the nearest future.
"At this moment we are participating in an Erasmus + KA2 project: "On a journey with the ARTist" with 5 countries and that will end in June 2018 with several final products such as: Representation of a musical by the students written among all the partner schools of the project, preparation of a manual of good practices for Art teachers, webpage of the project, etc ...
I want to thank Rita and Michel for the effort to perfectly organize a traditional barbecue in Le point des Chateaux, in which we try to help and collaborate with our hands to achieve a good final product. This is what we have to do as well in our international projects....

Meeting of teachers from other countries, joint discussions, conversations, exchange of experiences. This is the added value of any mobility. However, in this course, especially every participant, everyone was open to new ideas, ready to cooperate. that is why today's classes were a summary of all the ideas and ideas that were created by the two courses of the course during formal classes and non-formal meetings.
Preparing a BBQ on the beach in such a wonderful place was a great idea. Each day of the course was great, unforgettable, perfect !!!
