1. How do developmental scientists study people? What are some advantages and disadvantages of each research method?
The Scientific Method is kind of the standardized process used to find out information to some questions or doubts that some people might have about pretty much anything. It is helpful because it gives the researcher the steps to take in order to get some results.
1, there is a problem
But here there are to other steps that go here as well.
A theory is a statement that puts a bunch of ideas together . A hypotheses are fancy guesses or also known as scientific predictions
2, collect information from the problem
3, study and dissect to information collected
4, make conclusions of what happened by looking at all the information collected from the previous steps!!

A method that is used by many researchers that allows them to see or experiment and test information and guesses that were either given or made when a problem or a situation came about.
The

2. What ethical problems may arise in research with humans?
The first thing that pops into my head is religion vs. science .
But if I try really hard to leave out religion or whatever it is that I think I might believe in at this point . But why mess with the one unique outcome out of the 52 billion possible combinations! It is as unique as it is! But yes , what if this or that as in a terminal illness or someone that is need of an organ.
But my question would be what is ethical? What is it based of on?
Its not right to kill, steal, lie or cheat.
But why? Is it really wrong? Or is it a human's way of thinking? What is wrong right? IF I was taught to steal all of my life, in order for me to survive, is it really long?
If I am about to chemically and genetically manipulate genetics, is that okay? I am not sure, why not let life take its own course? Why not have the unique experiences ; and it is still a one of a kind, if it is a negative one. Therefore I do not think cloning will be okay. Biology tells me that cloning is not the most effective way of life, if one dies , all of them die!!
Why want a super genetically modified human? A super human? Now would it really be a natural human?
IFV is just a method to help the gametes come together to begin the wonder of conception! But a super human? would it be safe- I do not know if it would be okay to mess with science and life to the point where it is not natural anymore!

1. What purposes do theories serve?
Theories are a result of many sets of ideas and concepts in which could or could not help answer a question or event, it could also have a set of rules or predictions in some circumstances!
2. What are two (2) theoretical issues on which developmental scientists differ?
- developmental research just looks into detail at all the changes throughout the life-span sooo....

Theories are not necessarily a set of just one idea but rather a few put together. The book gives a few examples of theories that can be used to add or back up with more information but these sets of ideas are also not concrete facts. For example; situations like , nature vs nurture, almost everyone will argue that humans are both brought up with and in nature vs nurture. Other life concepts, like discontinuity vs continuity, tome it would be both but a few others can argue that it is just one side, but most of the time , developmentalists will not pick a side, but rather both like me!!
