One idea could be when they are learning the letters and the letter sounds, you could use this activity with five letters at a time. You would take those five letters and have three to five objects for each letter, which would be 15 to 25 objects, that have the same beginning sound for each letter.
The students would have to match the objects beginning sound to the correct letter with that sound. I think this would be a fun activity for the students to do. There are a lot of programs for tablets that allow students to practice the alphabet and earn points. If they get enough points they can redeem them for prizes!
