Do you know about summer reading? Summer reading is where you read in the summer to get you a head start on school. Reading helps us think positively about our actions. In my opinion I think schools should require reading in the summer because it helps us learn new things and helps our mind remember and grow.

Reading helps us learn things we might need in the next grade. Reading is the perfect skill and wonderful for kids (All Ages). Do you think that students should be required to read over summer vacation? Many students enjoy reading because of all the different topics. In my opinion, students should not have to read over the summer because some books deserve to be read, studied, and talked about in school. Also, students may forget the books they read over the summer when school starts again. 

Summer vacation is supposed to be a break from work. Also, some students may not even remember what they read over the summer because when the new school year starts, they will be learning new things and not what they learned in the books they read. According to the text, “When school starts again, I may forget all about the books I read.” 

Reading is not a bad thing to do, just not over the summer. Some of the book's students read may not help their learning and that is a waste of time. According to the text, “I am willing to work hard and get better. But this rule will not help with my reading goal.”

Do you think school should require reading during summer vacation? And should students pick out their own books? In my opinion schools should require reading during summer and should pick out their own books. In my essay I will tell you why schools should require reading during summer and why students should pick out their own books. Students should pick out their own books because some students don’t like the same topic, some girls don’t like what boys like, and some boys don’t like what girls like. And students can get more confidence and boost their impedance of reading. School should require it because it should study so they're ready for the next grade. 

 Also, students should pick their own book to read because so like nonfiction or fiction if they don't pick their books student won't be tempted to read the book. But if they pick out their books, they may read the book. Books are a good source of learning, and sometimes reading can be fun. There's alots of different books for different people. According to Choosing what I read, it states that during the summer between 5 grade and 6 grade students must read two books. So, students can get better.

Summer Vacation is a break from school. When I am on summer vacation, I will have the option to use math, or read a book or use science when I am on summer vacation, but I have sorts of other things to do. Also, summer vacation is about having fun with friends and family. But we can read a book or two when we are down having fun. According to the text “I have choices about what I do. Do you think schools should require reading books during the summer? Reading is something that can give you different information about different things. But in my opinion schools should not require reading books during the summer because summer is for new adventures and when school starts back, we may forget about all the books you read. 

But even if you do want to read you should have a choice too. According to paragraph 1 it says “when I'm on summer vacation I have choices about what I do”, and I feel like everyone else should have choice too. When you read at school you may remember the books but when you get home you may not remember. 

So, if you can't remember at home, it will not be good reading at home if you won't be able to remember you shouldn't be required to read books. And sometimes books can be hard to understand, especially when you read in summer because you mind be on different things,but if you have a choice when you want to read everything won't be on your mind because it will be on your own time.

Have you wanted to stay fresh of reading after summer break. Reading really helps me. Especially if im stressed. In my opinion i think that school should require students to read because first you will remember your learning. Second it gives you something to do when your not doing something.

It will be hard to do 6^th grade reading. Without reading in the summer it might be hard with 6^th grade reading. And according to the text it said that reading is a valuble skill reading could be a good thing, especially for people who like to read. In addition to when we read book in summer we can talk about them once we get back to school.

Do you ever want to read during summer vacation? Reading during summer vacation can be frustrating because it is your time off from school. We should not have to read during summer break because they have less time to relax. 

Reading during summer vacation does not allow students to do whatever they want. Reading during summer vacation causes kids to get frustrated and kids can get overwhelmed by Reading during summer vacation. Reading during summer vacation stretches their mind which can cause them to tune out what they are reading. Kids' reading during summer break makes them learn on their days off from school, so they get no time to play. Kids' reading during summer break they get no time to socialize. 

Kids' reading during vacation can cause kids to become increasingly tired, so they do not have the energy to enjoy their break. Reading during summer break causes kids to have no time with friends and family and not do fun activities. If kids read during every summer, they will not have time off from learning and when they read during summer break which makes them become stressed about it. When kids read every summer, their behavior starts to change, and they do not act themselves because they are reading during their summer break.

Would you want to read during summer vacation? Reading is important for your reading skills. But do you want to do it during summer vacation? In my opinion school should not require reading during summer vacation.  

We should be able to spend our summer the way we choose. If we want, we can go places that are executional. If we read inside a community, it can help a lot. If we read books in the classroom, we can understand and learn more about the book by talking about it. 

If we read in class, then we should be able to choose the books we read. Choosing the books we want to read can benefit our reading skill a lot! Do you like to read? Reading is a fantastic way to improve your vocabulary and reading skills and to better your writing skills. We should not require reading during summer break because reading can get boring, and we are on summer break and not in school. 

Did you know that some people use math to build skyscrapers? If you read during the summer, it can sometimes get boring with it getting boring you would eventually stop reading that is why you can go outside and play with friends instead of that to just sitting in your room all day and just reading or to play soccer or football. According to the text it says that summer break is a break from school and when I am on summer break, I have choices of what I want to do on my summer break and that I can do a lot more than just sit and read all day.

Sometimes you must read with someone to understand the book you are reading and sometimes you have words you do not understand and that when you read with a partner you can see what the book is all about and that you can see that you actually like the book you are reading and see if you can compare the book to your life. 

When you are on summer vacation you may have things, you want to do yourself, maybe you want to go to a water park or go to an aquarium and learn about all the animals so you can learn about the different facts and learn about their natural habitat. You can go to an amusement park and ride a rollercoaster, enjoy the fun, do not sit in your room, and just read books and go outside and enjoy the fresh air. According to the text, it says good books must be read in the classroom, not in the middle of a school break, and they must be studied and talked about in the class and not on a summer vacation. We need to be able to pick our own books and they should not be chosen by the school because we could have a book, we really want to read yourself but then the school says you must read this book than you are like aww man I don't want to read this book and that you want to read the book you really want to read but you can’t because the school said you have read the book they said read.

Have you ever read a book before? Reading is a great way of improving your vocabulary and learning new words. There are several types of books from fairy tales to horror and even nonfiction books. Almost all books have information that you didn’t know before. But should students in the middle of a summer vacation? In my opinion, schools should require reading during summer vacation because if a student is not on grade level, they can read to get on grade level and reading is a valuable skill. 

Students that are not on grade level can read books that are Newbery Medals, so they can be on grade level. When you read you learn new words or a new way to say it and you can learn new vocabulary words. According to the text of Summer is for new adventures “both books chosen have won Newbery Medals, that means they are good for our age group. So, reading books can help you and your classmates. 

Reading is a skill that you need for the rest of your life. Every day you read like name a day that you didn’t read. Reading is good for students and adults. According to the text of Choosing what I read “Reading is a valuable skill and required reading could be a good thing for students.” If students read in the summer, when they go back to school, they can talk about it at school.

In conclusion, students need to read during summer just for their education. It could prepare you for the next grade a little or the same grade if you were held back.

Summer Reading 

Are you a good reader? Reading is a boring quiet time when you say words in a book. In my opinion Schools shouldn't require during summer break because it's a time for student to relax and we also might have already read the books. 

Would you want to read during break? We shouldn’t have to read during the summer because it's a time for students to relax. During summer break it’s a break from all the work during the school year. If students must read during the summer, it won't really be a break from school. “According to source 1” When I am on summer vacation, I have a choice on what I might do. This means they can decide on what they might do. Instead of being forced to read. 

Have you ever reread a book? I know I have. If school chooses books for students to read during the summer they don’t know if students have already read the book. I students must read a book they already read it might be less encouraging to read the book. “According to source 2” students who found books that were good for them might end up reading three books, or four, or ten. This means if students can find new good books they might be encouraged to read

more. 

In conclusion students shouldn’t have to read during the summer. I say this because students want their own time during the summer.

Summer reading 

Do you like reading during the summer? Reading during is a way to learn a lot about reading is a way to about animals, social studies and more. 

Reading is a way to help you read better. Reading helps in school and in your jobs. Also, it helps you when you write. It helps you to write if that is your hobby. When you read books, you get ideas to draft books.

Reading helps you in life because if you cannot read you cannot get a job. Reading can also give you good things because reading makes you smart so you cannot be defrauded. Also, it helps when you are bored too.

In my opinion you should read it because reading can help you in life and it helps in trading things in life you to read to get a job and feed your family. You should read in to in prove your reading.

   Summer Reading 

Have you ever read a book that you loved? Books have many different styles like horror, romance, and even action. You don’t have to like the same books as someone else. There are many books to choose from. In my opinion, schools should require reading during summer vacation because you can choose the book, and instead of reading the captions on a show you can choose the book and you use subjects everywhere you go. 

 Students use subjects they see in school all the time. When you use money, you use math and when you use devices you use writing to type what you want to say. According to the text it says “I might read on my vacation, or I might use math to build a fort. I might go to an aquarium and learn about science.” This shows that students can use subjects when they go somewhere or meet someone. You learn something new every day so reading a book can also teach you something new. 

You can choose the book that you read so that you'll know what you like. If you choose the book you read there is no complaining about you didn't want the book. According to the text it says “students who found books that were great for them might end up reading three books, or four, or ten.” When people do this, they often found the book they liked. When they like a book they might even try to find more books like the book they read. Students might even find a series of books to read. 

In conclusion, schools should require reading during summer vacation because students use subjects they see in school all the time and you can choose the book that you read so that you'll know what you like. If you like the book you choose try to stick with the same genre you chose or try something new.

 Summer Reading 

Have you ever had an interest in a book? A book is awesome I read books for fun and learning, but would you want to read during summer? In my opinion, we should not require reading during summer vacation because since summer break is so long it would be easy to forget what you read, and summer break is for relaxing. 

Summer is to have fun. I could go swimming, build an airplane off a book, or just watch an informational show. According to the text it states, “I can do all sort of things during my summer vacation.” 

Summer vacation is for a long time. It would be so quick to forget everything you read, which would be a waste of time. According to the text it states “when school starts again, I may forget all about the books” 

In conclusion schools should not require reading during summer vacation because summer vacation is my time off and reading during summer vacation is forgettable. And everyone needs time off from school.

Summer Reading 

Do you enjoy reading books? Books are educational and can help with writing. Reading could be entertaining and fun to read. In my opinion schools should not require reading during summer vacation. 

Books are fun and enjoyable but reading during summer is not a good rule. Our summer is our break time, and we may choose what we do for our summer. In school we read every day and sometimes even at home and on the weekends because of homework. 

On summer break our time should be used wisely. Instead of reading books for education we should go out and do educational fun activities Instead of reading books on our summer break. For example, you could go to a museum, aquarium, or even a science lab for education. But if you like reading books there’s nothing wrong with staying home and reading a book if you prefer. 

School would be the perfect time that students can read instead of summer vacation. Students would read more if they were in a classroom instead of at home during summer vacation. If students were reading in school instead of at home students would focus more and read more and maybe even learn something new. Reading at school would be a better rule especially if they enjoy reading and learn something new. 

In conclusion I think that students should not be required to read during summer. Reading could make a big difference in writing but not during summer!

Summer Reading 

Do you enjoy summer break? Summer break is when students take a break from school for two months, some schools require students to read two books over the summer. In my opinion, schools should not require students to read over summer vacation because they need to disscus also what if they want to do another subject like math or science. 

Does your school require your to read two books over summer vacation? Some schools require students to read two books over summer vacation. But students might want to discuss the books, but they cannot because they are on summer vacation.  According to the text “We can discuss what different parts mean. We can help each other understand them. None of those things will happen for the books we read in the summer.”. So, students cannot discuss what they learned without them being able to understand the book well. Also, students cannot remember what they read and what is the point of reading if students cannot remember what the.  

Sometimes do you ever just want to do any subject during summer? Well, if schools require reading during summer that means they can't because they are too busy reading. According to the text “I might read on vacation, or I might use math to build a fort.”. The students should be able to choose whatever subject they want to do that day and not just do one. 

In conclusion, students should not be required to read over summer vacation.

Opinion writing:  Reading over summer break 

Did you ever have to read books over a summer vacation? Reading is absorbing knowledge; it can tell you about information that you never knew about. Should Schools require reading during the summer? And should teachers pick the books we read?  

In my opinion we should require reading during summer vacation, reading can make you smarter. Also, it prepares you for correcting your writing, and can help with vocabulary.  And we shouldn't be watching tv all day Reading is an important skill to master.  
  

When you first learn how to read it's not that easy. You must know you're a, b, c’s and you can’t make it through life without being able to read. 

According to the passage” Reading is a valuable skill that we must master in life. Students can in joy reading any book that They want to read. “Students who found books that were great for them might end up reading one or more than one  

Also, kids can enjoy any book they want to read. It makes reading fun for kids when they're able to read the books they want to read at home or in school.

In conclusion, this way students would start to like reading more.  

Lastly this is why students should read over the summer, and why they should be able to pick one or more books they want to read without someone picking it out for them.
