As the name implies, this land is covered in grasses. To name a few, there are foxtail, ryegrass, needle grass, and more. The animals that live here consist of, elephants, bison, gazelles, lions, rabbits, and gophers to name a few. Like other parts of the world, the grasslands have a normal food chain. The "prey" eat the grass, and the predators like lions chase them down and eat them.

If this keystone species were to die off, the animals like the rabbits would keep preproducing. With no predator to hunt them, the land would become overpopulated.

If there wasn't a predator hunting these animals, they would reproduce, and the land would become over populated.

That would mean shutting down all farms in the grasslands, and no more hunting.
