Computer hardware refers to the physical parts of a computer and related devices.

Internal hardware devices include motherboards, hard drives, and RAM. External

hardware devices include monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, and scanners.

The internal hardware parts of a computer are often referred to as components

, while external hardware devices are usually called peripherals. Together, they

all fall under the category of computer hardware. Software, on the other hand,

consists of the programs and applications that run on computers. Because

software runs on computer hardware, software programs often have

system requirements that list the minimum hardware required for the software to run.

The von Neumann architecture is a family of computer architectures that use the same

storage device for instructions and for the data (unlike the Harvard architecture).

Most modern computers are based on this architecture, but may include additional devices.

Computer software is a general term that describes computer programs. Related terms such as software programs, applications, scripts, and instruction sets belong to the category of computer software. So, installing new programs or applications on your computer is synonymous with installing new software on your computer. Software can be difficult to describe because it is "virtual," is not physical like computer hardware.

Source: http://www.techterms.com/definition/software

APPLE as a Vendor produces OSX SNOW LEOPARD as one of their operating system flavors. Moreover, we can say that ANDROID KIT KAT is one of the operating system flavors produced by GOOGLE. To complete the three main vendors, we can add that MICROSOFT, created by Bill Gates, works as a vendor to the operating system family, windows. One flavor of this family is WINDOWS VISTA.

Source: Ricardo Jurado's mind

A virtual machine is a software implementation of a machine that executes programs like a physical machine. Virtual machines are separated into two major classifications, based on their use and degree of correspondence to any real machine:

- System virtual Machine, which is the one that provides a complete system platform, which mans that it supports the execution of a complete Operating System. The other is a Process or Lenguage virtual Machine wich is designed to run a single programm, that means it supports a single process, insteadof a complete Operating System.
