Barriers to the service may be that you are not in the right geographical location to access all services. It s regulated by the care quality commission. the service also has safeguarding policies "Staff understood and fulfilled their responsibilities to raise concerns and report incidents and near misses. Opportunities for learning were maximised." (UVMP) the service ensures safe guarding by reporting all concerns to patient safety where there are opportunity's for learning for example if the gp makes a mistake. Most service available are NHS funded.
