With Melody getting a new wheelchair she can now move freely from class to class with the regular students. Melodys confidence is now on the rise. She is feeling more like a normal human being rather than a limited person. Melody attends a conference and her teacher, Mrs. Shannon compliments her skills in the classroom. Melody meets Catherine for the first time in chapter 12.
