Reporting child abuse is extremely important for educators because the amount of quality time we spend with our students gives us ample opportunities to suspect or even sometimes stop child abuse (Hogelin, 2013).

Most of the legal and ethical issues are influenced by the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act
