The field medics have a very special job. They are not doctors. They are not nurses. Their main job is to do their best to make sure the injured soldiers can return to the army camp ALIVE AT ANY COST.

When we say "ALIVE AT ANY COST", we mean the medics would, for example, saw off a limb just to make sure the injured return to the camp ALIVE.

It is a hard job. No one likes this job. So medics always pray that war would not happen.

Do you remember the Singapore crest? The one which has the lion and tiger holding on to the coat of arms? People have said that the priests of all four religions bless the crests and the crests are either on the soldiers' uniforms or berets (the slanted caps).

I ever heard of a case where someone was possessed by something in a chalet. And my friend was there... He was still in the uniform. The minute he pressed the crest of his beret on the person, the person was saved....

Do you know that pilots of fighter planes have to have excellent grades in Maths and Physics?
Can you imagine you running out of fuel in the middle of the flight because you did not count your trip's speed and distance?
Not only that, potential pilots have to go through a test where they are being put in a room with little oxygen and they are forced to complete tough Maths questions. Reduced oxygen concentration will lead to lethargy and fatigue where the person is not able to focus. So Singapore pilots have to have a VERY HIGH level of focus.

Out of 100, there can only be less than 30 who can pass the test to be a naval diver. And it is true. The test is very difficult. HIGH LEVEL OF FOCUS is needed to be a diver.
Firstly, the gear you wear will be heavy (air tanks, rebreathers, regulators plus other stuff... people who do scuba diving can understand).
Secondly, when you are deep underwater, you may not be able to breath properly, leading to insufficient oxygen.
Fourth, vision is not good underwater. You can only see out from your goggles and the water can be murky.
Fifth, you still have to focus. One of the tasks they have to do underwater, such as disarming a sea mine (underwater bomb). One careless mistake....
There is one teacher among us who is a navy diver...
