I think the ACT giving the option the take different subjects at different times will improve scores. People taking the ACT now have to try and and get all the preparation they need for the whole test, and that this stressful. If students could take a section at a time they will be able to focus on one subject at a time. They wouldn’t feel so stressed and worked up over on a lot of different testing strategies. Also, there is people who get testing anxiety, and might feel a little relief if they could get a break in between taking each section. Which that could also help improve some scores

I also believe that the Act should be split up into different subjects. I think it would make it easier for students to study for each section. I also believe that dividing up the test would take some of the stress off of the student. Also, if the student fails a section, they could just redo that section and not all of the others.

I feel that getting the option to take different parts of the ACT at different times will improve scores. I feel that one of the hardest parts of the ACT is sitting through all of the tests, with hardly any time between them. It causes test takers to get restless and exhausted from the continuous spill of information and stress of time. Another reason scores will go up is that it gives students time to prepare strategies for different subjects without haveing to worry if another subject could drop their score.

Time is valuable. The more pressure being placed on students to achieve greater scores on the ACT is almost harmful. Students have studied weeks on end and are required to take all the subjects in one setting. I believe if the subjects were split it would allow more valuable time to be placed on the study of each subject.
