The characters in Took are Brody Mason, Old Auntie, Bloody Bones, Daniel and Erica Anderson, Mom, Erica's doll, and Dad. Brody Mason is a short kid who speaks in a southern voice about old folktales to Daniel and Erica Anderson to scare them. Mom and dad are people who are generally happy for what they have most of the time, and they care about their child Erica more than Daniel because she is younger. Daniel is usually level headed and the older brother to Erica. Daniel does not like to be mistreated. Erica is Daniels little sister. She is presumed cute by everybody but Daniel, and she is a brat who also talks to her doll a lot. Old Auntie is usually in the form of an old woman, and she likes to take female children as slaves until they turn fifty. After turning fifty, Old Auntie sends the grown woman to die, and fins a new girl-slave. Old Auntie does not feed the slaves very much, so that they are weak, and cannot run from her easily. Bloody Bones in a razorback hound that eats humans and is undead. Bloody Bones is also under Old Auntie's control. Erica's doll is a normal doll, but Old auntie makes it seem like the doll is talking to Erica, but actually, it is Old Auntie talking to her.
