The first recorded history of astronomy is mainly some drawings of eclipses, comets, supernovae such as the Pueblo Petrograph. We have known that the early man was frightened/overwhelmed by the sky. One of the first recorded astronomical observations back in 1,600 BC was the Nebra sky disk from northern Europe. The disk is probably known as a religious symbol and or an astronomical instrument or calendar.
