While reading this chapter, I felt sad how ifemelu lost her natural hair by the relaxing chemicals she used on her hair. I think the love and support comments that it did provide to some that were not happy about their natural hair. It helped them lift their spirit up and being comfortable with who they are and comfortable with their natural hair. Therefore Ifemelu felt happier and more confident about her hair.
