I would not have been able to complete my I.S. without support from the Copeland Fund. My trip to the national archives in Scotland was pivotal in my research and access to primary resources. The generosity of the College in assisting students with their research goals is what really helps our Independent Study projects stand apart.

I made my gift in honor of Coach Sarah Davis and the #WooVB ladies who I had the honor to play and grow with over my 4 years at Wooster, many of whom remain my closest friends to this day. It was always about more than volleyball, that's the beauty of Division III. We are better daughters, friends, moms, spouses, and coworkers because of our experiences on and off the court. Go Scots!

Dr Yvonne Williams did a fantastic job of helping me research and write my project. I also remember meeting her husband Ted one Saturday morning when I toured as a high school student. Dr. Cropp was a friend to so many. He rescued me when I was drowning in Senior IS. I gave all kinds of reasons. He gave me an opportunity. I stayed at his house with his family for several days until I completed my work. I got HONORS for my work! Thank you

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to Professors Mariola and Tierney for their mentorship throughout my time at Wooster with APEX Fellowships, general academics, and IS. There are very few people who would’ve bet on the 19 year old at a school in Ohio wanting to obsessively study Italian wine but you did and here I am now - importing Italian wine. Thank you. I can confidently say that am who I am and where I am today because of you and the belief you had in me to pursue my dreams.
