I will be reading this book for our current theme. This has also been adapted into a show which was loved nationally. Known to be witty and humorous Narayan's writing is said to be very descriptive and interesting. It displays their struggles with family, careers and relationships. It showcases the lessons they learn throughout. The book encapsulates the bond of family no matter how problematic it gets, family is family. For someone who doesn't go out of their way to read books by Indian authors I'm pretty excited to read this book.
