I appreciated the session. However, I felt rushed and unable to make deep reflection on the process. I also feel a bit limited since our students start state testing in two weeks.

The session was useful, however it would be more beneficial at the beginning of the year. I liked that we were all focusing on the same students, versus each of us picking bubble students. Knowing what students need the most attention from the start, would probably show more improvement, than introducing the data two weeks before state testing.

Thanks for being flexible with the time needed to do the tasks. Doing this at the end of Q2 would be more effective since the Benchmark material would actually have matched the curriculum covered.

It was enlightening to hear other teachers discuss the same students! The task of encouraging just 2-3 students is easily spread to all our Approaching or DNME students :)

The data arrangement is good and will help if we are able to implement. Guard our planning hour. It is all we have to use.

The session was very useful. I think this would be beneficial at the beginning of the year when identifying our students of focus for the year (i.e. SLO Data, "bubble" students)

Overall I thought it was good. I think doing this at the beginning and checking in each quarter/after benchmarks would be more helpful. I believe that identifying the lowest 20% is good and we should utilize that data. I also think we should have utilized the bubble kids data as a team throughout the year to help move those students. I think you did good Mrs. Loftis! You created an environment I think everyone felt comfortable working in.

Session was very useful and i liked the way you started . It helped us to check all the students in every subject of bench mark. It was awesome like choosing a few students per teacher motivating them to improve in coming assessments.

The session was very eye-opening: seeing scores for one student across subjects and hearing feedback from other teachers. I feel that this would better serve our students if we began doing this at the start of school as opposed to midway through 4th quarter. Thank you for creating an environment that was supportive and encouraging.

It was a helpful exercise that gave me a better insight of my lower performing students. This would be helpful at the start of year so teaching strategies can be carefully devised.
