         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Andersonville Prison</strong> (also known as Camp Sumter in Georgia)-Known to be most horrific one. In the 14 months of its existence, 45,000 prisoners were received , and of these nearly 13,000 died.<br><br><strong>Camp Douglas</strong> in Chicago, Illinois. It was also known as the “Andersonville of the North." One prisoner in seven died, for a total of 4,200 deaths by 1865. <br><br></div>]]></description>
