I know you will make the absolute most of this time in your life! Soooo many cruises yet to come! For you, that is, you couldn’t pay me enough to willingly step on a ship! We came to know each other through the bonds of our children who clicked in middle school. Along with Janice and Teresa, we formed our own bonds, “The Mommies”, and I value and cherish the warmth and support we’ve created and maintained. You and Derrick have raised a wonderful young man in DJ, and his values and integrity are a direct reflection of you! I have a favorite picture of “The Gang” from the Accokeek Junior prom - I’d insert it if I wasn’t so tech challenged! - and it always makes me smile when I’m down. You are intrinsically interwound in those found memories. Thank you for being you!

Sorry to have missed your fun party! You and I worked together so much longer than when you were my manager - all the special FAA wide projects we were always volunteering for, lol. I was always happy that you were a teammate. I'm sure our teammates from Branch B did you proud on their speeches and spoke for me as well. But, to reiterate, you were a GREAT BOSS, working for your employees always, to ensure our success and wellbeing. In that, we also fostered a close team, willing to help each other out too. I do NOT miss work, but I do miss our frequent conversations, even after I moved on. Not only were you a wonderful manager, but also a cherished friend and confidant.


Best of everything in retirement - whatever you choose to do, will be a success!!
