During the first 3 years of my nursing career I was working in a nursing home. Currently I am working at Harlem hospital on Med/Surg unit and doing my cross training in ICU. My goal is to finish RN to BSN program next semester and start looking into NP programs next year. I love traveling and watching movies.

I just got accepted to the RN-BSN program here at Hunter. I earned my BSN from CUNY Medgar Evers College last spring. I also have a BS in Biology from Brooklyn College, which I earned in 2008. From 2008-2019 I worked at the Department of Health Bureau of Food Safety. I started out as a field inspector and was promoted to supervisor in 2016. I currently work at an outpatient clinic at an NYC HHC facility. Im still exploring career goals but for now, I think I would like to open up a business like a Skilled Nursing Facility. I don’t have any hobbies per se, but I enjoy going out for walks, sitting in a park or public area and spending time with friends and family.
