Can you tell the difference between a teacher who has kept up with trends and one who has not? How has that affected you as a student?

The teacher that kept up with the new technology, or the new learning techniques they were honestly great because we as students didn't have to basically run the class for the teacher. I can definitely tell who knew what they were doing and those who didn't.

How do you feel about your own growth as a future teacher? Is what you are learning in college changing your thinking some? How do you plan to keep up with professional research and trends?

I will always have more things to learn more things to better about myself. I will never be a perfect teacher. Being in college has just solidified that I need to always be working on something. I will try to go to several seminars on new techniques. Ask my colleagues about what they think can do better.

There was a teacher that thought he was the best thing since sliced bread, this made it hard to learn with him because he never thought anything was good enough. This discouraged me to even try to do well.
