RAM: Info loads quickly, and it is mainly used to store info.
ROM: Info stored permanently and you can only read but not write.

"Components that store information permanently."
This are used so when you turn your computer off and keep your information safe. They read and wite data, information, and instructions.
There are 3 types of storage devices such as:
Magnetic: Magnetize microscopic particles in the surface of the device.
Optical: Elements are read with a microscope.
Of solid state: use a process that opens and closes gates of a cell data and this storages data.
 Examples:
-Hard Disk: A part of a unit, used to store and provide fast access to data.
-Magnetic Tape: Normally used to store audio and binary data storage.
